As a Technical Project Manager you will be liaising with our Senior Project Managers based in London and be primarily concerned with the successful completion, on time and to budget, of our projects. You will be heading up a team of developers, testers and graphics designers and working on multiple projects/platforms. You should also enjoy working in such a team environment, cope well with pressure, and have a genuine enthusiasm for Technology, together with a *can do* attitude.
You will also need the ability to manage and priorities a varied workload and enjoy a customer-focused project management role in a constantly changing environment.
You will then plan the developers' time and tasks, as well as clarify the developers' understanding of the requirements.
You will have 10+ years of previous total experience and 2+ years within a similar role taking responsibility for high availability / high throughput systems, capable of working with large data sets. Typically working within a .NET / SQL Server and LAMP Stack environment you will need to be able to demonstrate extensive experience of the software development lifecycle, software architecture and engineering principles.
Your duties will include:
Day-to-day agile project management, including scrum, sprint, delivery and project review.
Communicating effectively with clients and requirements capture and analysis.
Managing the costing of requirements, planning resources for projects.
Scheduling development time.
Managing the product/project roadmap, and testing the work.
Managing the resource plan across all projects.
Deep technical Web development or software programming experience across multiple software platforms /languages would be essential.
Sound knowledge of accessibility and usability knowledge of GUI considerations, Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Design patterns such as MVC and MVVM would be an advantage as would experience of agile project management tools.
First round Interviews are planned to be held between 26th and 30th July 2010.
